Glenn Blumenfeld, one of the three shareholders of Tactix, joined the firm in 2003, bringing with him a wealth of transactional experience in complex real estate and financial deals. Before coming to Tactix, Glenn was a Partner in the Finance and Real Estate Group at Dechert, LLP, one of the country’s largest and most prestigious law firms, for almost two decades. At Dechert, he was Chair of the Firm’s Real Estate Equity Group and Co-Chair of the Firm’s Hiring Committee. Glenn was lead counsel on over $1 billion worth of acquisitions and dispositions and handled leasing, development and financing transactions for some of the countries largest and most respected corporations and institutions.
Since joining Tactix, Glenn has led some of the largest and most complex transactions in the region including the representation of both Dechert LLP and Woodcock Washburn as anchor tenants at Cira Centre, Blank Rome LLP and Buchanan Ingersoll in their respective Center City leases and Pep Boys in the potential sale and relocation of their corporate headquarters. Other clients include Southco, Fisher Scientifics, Kreischer Miller, Hamilton Lane, Elementis and many of the region's most respected law firms.
Glenn is a graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania (B.S., magna cum laude, 1982) and the University of Pennsylvania Law School (J.D., cum laude, 1985). He was editor of the University of Pennsylvania Law Review.
Glenn is a member of CoreNet International, the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Association of Attorneys and Executives in Corporate Real Estate. He is Treasurer and a member of the Board of Directors for Philadelphia’s Ronald McDonald House, as well as a Trustee of the Philadelphia Bar Foundation. He is a frequent speaker and writer on industry topics. |
