Since joining Tactix in April of 2007, Ryan Conner has quickly established himself as a “go to” tenant representative for some of the region’s most respected companies. Ryan handles all aspects of office and industrial commercial lease negotiations, site selection, financial modeling, asset acquisition and disposition, and overall transaction management. In Ryan’s first project he initiated the engagement of Tactix by one of the region’s premier accounting firms and assisted team members in the relocation of the company’s 45,000 sq. ft. office headquarters in Horsham, PA. Since then, Ryan has also established strong ongoing relationships with clients such as Veltek Associates, Inc., Flying Fish Brewing Co., and Chempump, Inc. (three of Greater Philadelphia’s industry leading companies), as well as Grant & Eisenhofer, PA and Connolly Bove Lodge & Hutz, LLC (two of Wilmington, Delaware’s dominant law firms), among others. Ryan also remains connected to his roots in land development representing families and institutions in the disposition of land with development opportunity.
Prior to joining Tactix, Ryan was a Development Manager for Preferred Unlimited in Conshohocken, PA. Preferred is a diversified investment company with $1.5 billion in real estate holdings. While at Preferred, he managed several multi-million dollar redevelopment projects specializing in the repositioning of large, mixed-use surplus corporate real estate, most notable of which was the redevelopment of the 106-acre, 1.3 million square foot former Giant Foods headquarters facility just outside of Washington, DC.
Ryan’s real estate career started with the Riverfront Development Corporation of Delaware (RDC) in Wilmington, DE. In this role, Ryan worked as a project assistant on the organization's South Wilmington land acquisition and redevelopment initiative. He was also instrumental in marketing Riverfront Wilmington as a premier live-work environment.
Ryan graduated with a BA from the University of Delaware in 1999 and received a Masters of Public Administration degree with a concentration in Economic Development from the University of Delaware’s School of Urban Affairs and Public Policy. During graduate school Ryan completed a year of volunteer service through the AmeriCorps program. Ryan is currently president of the board of the University of Delaware Philadelphia Alumni Chapter and is a member of the steering committee for the Urban Land Institute’s Delaware Sub-chapter.
