Judson J. Wambold

Jud Wambold, one of the three shareholders of Tactix, started his career as a real estate attorney at Dechert, one of the country's largest law firms, where he was the attorney in charge of lease transactions involving both commercial and industrial projects having an aggregate value in excess of $8 billion.  After 17 years of practice, Jud left the legal profession to become the Corporate Managing Director of the Philadelphia office of Julien J. Studley, a national tenant representation firm.  A year after joining Studley, Jud left to form Tactix with Sal Ambrosio.

Jud's broad range of experience includes traditional leases, credit tenant leases, sale/lease backs, equity leases, build to suit leases, synthetic leases and real estate lending.

Jud represents a number of tenants with real estate assets throughout the country.  He has successfully structured complex land assemblies and land dispositions, including the acquisition and rezoning of land for an 880,000 sf laboratory in the Southwest, the largest facility of its type east of the Mississippi.  Jud has also handled negotiations for high-value, mission critical facilities, including a 100,000 sf worldwide financial center for Sodexho in Buffalo and a 100,000 sf national data center in Atlanta.

Notable office transactions in the Philadelphia area include the high profile leases of Dechert and Woodcock Washburn at the tax advantaged Cira Centre, as well as the new world headquarters for Kulicke & Sofa in Fort Washington. Jud also represents some of Philadelphia's leading law firms, including Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney, Fox Rothschild and Saul Ewing.

Although specializing in office properties, Jud's experience ranges from warehouse, manufacturing, heavy industrial, retail and multi-and single-family developments.

Jud graduated summa cum laude in an accelerated program at The Wharton School in 1974, and went on to receive his J.D. from Cornell Law School, where he served as Managing Editor of the Cornell International Law Journal.
